How does the design process work?

It's important you provide as much information and inspiration as possible. This way - I can create a design that we both love!

On discussion I will have mentinoed a start date to you, your start date is only confirmed once payment has been made and may be offered to others.

Depending on the scope of work you will either receive a request to login to an app called motion (this is used for branding packages to keep everything in one place!)

for other designs - you will then receive an email with an invoice.

On your start date your project will begin.

Communication for branding packages will be through motion and for other design work will be through the platform you enquired through (instagram, email or facebook)

What is a revision?

Revisions are needed when:

  • The design isn't exactly what you were after.
  • New information or requirements come to light.
  • Minor tweaks are needed to improve the overall look!

The most common revisions are:

Colour Changes: Adjusting the colours of the design elements.

Text Adjustments: Changing the font, size, or wording of any text.

Layout Modifications: Rearranging elements for better composition.

Graphic Edits: Refining or replacing images, logos, or icons.

Adding/Removing Elements: Including new details or removing unnecessary parts.

How does the Revision Process work?

Once I send you your design mockups - I will gather all your feedback.

I will then go back to the design and adjust and change and finalise the elements based on all your feedback.

You’ll receive a revised proof to review and approve.

It is important to be as specific as possible about what you want changed, added or altered.

Any additional revisions after the two rounds mentioned above are charged at a flat fee of $50.

Revisions ensure that the final design aligns perfectly with your vision and needs. They are a crucial part of the customisation process, ensuring you get a design you absolutely love!

How long will it take for me to get my design?

This Depending on complexity of your design.

Typically - you will receive your first design drafts within a week.

For branding packages - please allow up to six weeks to get your files.

Can I get the design prior to payment?

I require payment prior to any design work!

What if I decide not to proceed with my order?

Due to the customised nature of your order, refunds on designs are not offered once work has begun.

Refunds are only available if the order is cancelled within 24 hours of payment.

Terms and Conditions

Scope of Work
The service provided includes the creation of design work, as specified upon enquiring.

Payment Terms
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to begin work on the project. The remaining balance is due prior to delivery of the final designs. Payments can be made via bank transfer or through shopify payment platform.

Revisions
You are able to have 2 rounds of revisions per design. Any additional revisions beyond those included in the package will incur an extra fee of $50 per design.

Turnaround Time
The initial rough designs will be delivered within 7 business days after the deposit is received. Final designs will be completed within 7-10 business days following the client's selection of sketches and revision requests.

Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to provide timely feedback and any necessary information to complete the project. Delays in feedback may result in delays in the delivery of the final designs. The more feedback the better and will potentially eliminate the need for additional revisions.

Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, the client will receive the exclusive commercial use license for the final designs, allowing them to use the designs for their business purposes. The designer retains the right to include the designs in their portfolio or for promotional purposes unless a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is in place.

Cancellation Policy
Due to the customised nature of your order, refunds on designs are not offered once work has begun. Refunds are only available if the order is cancelled within 24 hours of payment. The initial deposit is non-refundable.

File Delivery
Final designs will be delivered in transparent PNG and SVG format through a google drive.

These files will be stored on my google drive for 6 months. After this - the client is responsible for the storage and safekeeping of these files.

Liability
The designer is not responsible for any printing errors, colour discrepancies, or other issues arising from the use of the final files by the client or third-party vendors.

Use of Licensed Materials
The designer is not liable for any legal issues or disputes that may arise from the use of unlicensed or improperly licensed materials that have been requested in the design.

Agreement
By commissioning this project, the client agrees to these terms and conditions. Any changes to the agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
