Reviewed: Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation

With Charlotte Tilbury herself touting Light Wonder as her number one foundation, I knew I was on to a good thing when I got my mitts on this baby.

As my skin is, at the best of times, equally as dry as the plains of your average desert, I actively seek out foundations and skincare that work to hydrate. Light Wonder is a moisturising god-send that leaves my skin looking dewy .

With the formula enriched in ‘psuedo-ceramides’ that hydrate your skin for up to 18 hours and ‘youth boosting actives’ that work to hide all those wrinkles and pores, this foundation has a beautiful light coverage that fits perfectly into my everyday makeup routine.

I love how this foundation looks on my skin. The coverage, as mentioned before, is light and not easily build-able. Yet for an everyday, breathable finish, Light Wonder is a winner. Liquid itself is silky to touch, and applies smoothly to blend seamlessly into my skin. I use a beauty blender to apply – for a heavier coverage, a dense brush is more appropriate.

Where other foundations with moisturising aspects are all too often heavy and cakey, Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder foundation sits above the rest in its category for being the exact opposite, and equipped with SPF 15+ too boot. Further, Charlotte Tilbury doesn’t test on animals –  winning!

I am wearing Light 3. You can purchase Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder in a 40ml bottle here
